Amy Beckius-Johnson

Amy Beckius-Johnson has over 20 years of experience working in rural community-based victim services as an advocate, trainer and director. She also has worked with the CASA program, an international harm reduction NGO, Community Action Programs and started a local food network to address gaps in rural food access. Amy’s education in policy analysis and research and her advocacy roles has led to working on multidisciplinary approaches to improve the response to sexual violence at the intersections of people, services and community response. She has additional training in network mapping and restorative circle facilitation. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, volunteering, is a Master Gardener and likes to try new things like beekeeping and community theatre.
