About this event
Supporting survivors of sexual violence means reckoning with oppression and racism and addressing profound harm caused to victims/survivors. This journey requires us to collectively reimagine what justice, healing, and community truly mean. Join us at AWARE 2022 as we learn from activist and author Tarana Burke, center the voices of survivors, and envision the future of our movement together!
We envision a world free of sexual violence in which all human beings are treated with dignity and respect and communities are transformed through safety, healing, and partnerships.
Tickets are sold on a sliding scale of $10, $20, and $40 based on what you feel you can afford. Proceeds and donations go toward our four program areas: racial justice, advocacy, harm prevention, and systems change. Together, we can support victims/survivors and drive transformative culture change!
ASL and live auto-captioning will be available. Please let us know how we can make this event accessible to you when you register.
