What Minnesota Advocates Need to Know About Abortion
August 10 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
For MNCASA Partner Program Members only
Please join MNCASA for an interactive webinar on “What Minnesota Advocates Need to Know About Abortion.” With the overturning of Roe v. Wade, conversations about reproductive justice, abortion care, and sexual violence are critical for advocates. Many victims/survivors of violence may have questions or concerns about abortion services in Minnesota and how to access them. While abortion access can be inconsistent across the state, abortion is a legal, safe option in Minnesota. Regardless of their personal values, advocates should be prepared to discuss abortion care with victims/survivors. This webinar is intended to equip advocates for those important conversations.
Through this webinar, advocates will be able to:
- Analyze how abortion care, sexual violence, and reproductive justice are interrelated
- Describe the basics of abortion care and access in Minnesota
- Apply knowledge from webinar to advocacy with victims/survivors
Please note this webinar is interactive and will not be recorded. We will record a separate webinar on the same topic at a later time that will be available to advocates.
Auto-captioning will be provided at this event. ASL interpretation will also be available if needed.
