This month provides an opportunity for individuals\, organizations\, and communities to come together to educate\, advocate\, and take action to end sexual violence. \nSexual violence affects people of all ages\, backgrounds\, and communities. Through awareness\, education\, and support\, we can work toward creating safer environments where survivors are believed\, supported\, and empowered. \n  \nView all SAS’s SAAM events.

MNCASA’s 40 hour training should not be used as a screening tool for new staff. While the MNCASA’s 40 hour training is not designed to be a screening tool\, MNCASA facilitators retain the right to provide feedback on a participant’s readiness to become an advocate. Furthermore\, MNCASA has the right to ask someone to leave the training or not receive their certificate of attendance.\nTrainees must complete all of the Homework and Online Content prior to attending the training. If this work is not completed\, they cannot attend the training.\nAttendees must be punctual and attend all training events. If attendees miss any part of the training\, they will not receive a certificate of completion from MNCASA.\nThis is an interactive training. Attendees should be prepared to actively participate in discussions\, small groups\, and role plays.\n\n\nIf you have already completed the 40-Hour Sexual Assault Advocacy Training in Minnesota and need a refresher\, we ask that you not register for this training so that spots are available for new advocates. \n  \nSchedule \n\nComplete all homework\, including readings\, webinars\, and documentaries\, by Sunday\, January 11\, 2026.\nPlease note: Articles/Activities and Webinars and Films equates to about 18 hours of work.\nLive Virtual Training:\n\n\n\n\nDay One: Tuesday – 8:30 a.m.– 3:30 p.m.\nDay Two: Wednesday – 8:30 a.m.– 3:30 p.m.\nDay Three: Thursday – 8:30 a.m.– 3:30 p.m.\nDay Four: Friday – 8:30 a.m.– 3:30 p.m.\n\n\n\n  \nView Sample Schedule \n  \nPlease note: Each day will include a 45-minute lunch break\, and other pre-planned breaks.
