DESCRIPTION:Monthly call for advocates from Partner Programs only. You must log in to Coalition Manager to register. \n  \nHandling the Hotline: The Ins and Outs of Effective\, Safe\, and Grounded Advocacy \nThis call is a space to share what feels challenging on the hotline\, what scripts or strategies work for you\, and what support you need to feel steady and effective.  We will talk about how to stay grounded during unpredictable calls\, how to set and hold boundaries\, and how to confidently navigate harmful callers. \n  \nDiscussion Questions \n\nWhat parts of hotline work feel most challenging?\nWhat helps you stay grounded when a call becomes emotional\, confusing\, or intense?\nHow do you currently handle harmful callers\, and what feels hardest about these moments?\nWhat scripts or phrases feel supportive when setting boundaries or ending a call?\nWhat additional training or tools would help you feel more confident on the hotline?\n\n  \nASL interpretation will be available if needed\, and auto-captioning will be provided.
