Heather Blanton

For more than 18 years, Heather Blanton has helped advocates and communities strengthen their response to sexual and domestic violence through training, technical assistance, and systems change. As Training and Technical Assistance Manager with the Sexual Violence Justice Institute at MNCASA, she partners with professionals across the country to build skills, share strategies, and create meaningful change for survivors.

Heather’s expertise includes rural advocacy, offender accountability, protection orders, succession planning, and coordinated community responses. Whether facilitating training, developing resources, or partnering with communities to address complex challenges, she is passionate about making complex topics accessible and helping professionals leave with practical tools they can put to work right away.
