Join the Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault as we celebrate 45 years of advocacy and service at our annual AWARE event during Sexual Assault Awareness Month. As an AWARE sponsor, your organization supports MNCASA’s work to drive transformative culture change, provide critical resources to victim advocacy programs in Minnesota, and advocate for the needs of victims/survivors statewide.

Supporting MNCASA by sponsoring AWARE 2023 means supporting the collective needs of 66 organizations addressing sexual assault across Minnesota. These frontline workers answer 24/7 crisis phone lines for survivors in need, sit in emergency rooms with survivors seeking a forensic exam, organize support groups for survivors in rape crisis centers, and maintain safe havens for survivors at domestic and sexual violence shelters.

MNCASA acts as a voice of organizations and individuals committed to ending sexual violence. As the state coalition, we advocate publicly for the needs of victims/ survivors statewide, serve as a point of connection for our members, and work to increase their capacity through networking opportunities, technical assistance, and other resources.

AWARE will be held virtually on Zoom and feature a nationally-recognized keynote speaker.

We provide leadership and resources to advocates in providing services to all victims/survivors in their communities, uplifting responses to sexual violence that don’t create more harm.

Prevention

We work to prevent harm and address root causes of sexual violence using an anti-oppression lens.

Racial Justice

We work toward a Minnesota where BIPOC victims/survivors have access to safety, affirmation, and systems they can trust and use.

Policy & Systems Change

We invest in community-focused work alongside our efforts to transform systems, prioritizing underserved communities.
