Meaningfully Addressing Sexual Violence with S*T*O*P

The 2013 reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act included a statutory requirement that 20% of the STOP funding awarded to each state and territory must be used to meaningfully address sexual assault. This 1.5 hour webinar will discuss fundamental information STOP administrators need to know about sexual violence and ways STOP administrators can make sure their state fulfills the 20% funding requirement. We will also discuss different ways STOP funding can be used to address sexual violence in the 4 funding allocation areas (victim services, law enforcement, prosecution, and courts).
