Partner Hosted Training: Combined SANE Training (Crisis Services of North Alabama)
August 2026 Combined SANE Training
Didactic Training (Hybrid):
August 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20th, 2026
Training will be held three days per week for three weeks from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM each day.
Clinical Skills Lab (In-Person – Huntsville, Alabama):
August 29–30, 2026
The Clinical Skills Lab will take place over a two-day weekend from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM both days.
This is a combined SANE training (adult/adolescent and pediatric) and also includes other aspects of forensic nursing. A one-hour lunch break is provided each day during both the didactic training and the clinical skills lab.
Upon completion of both components, you will receive a total of 96 Continuing Education hours
• 72 hours from the didactic training
• 16 hours from the clinical skills lab
At that point, you will be considered SANE trained.
