Funding for crime victim services is vital to the safety and well-being of victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Our programs have not received an increase in base level funding in over eight years, and we are facing a devastating shortfall in federal funding.

Domestic and sexual violence programs across Minnesota and in your district are continuing to provide the critical services that victims and their children need. During these times of increased violence and abuse, your support is vital.  Domestic and sexual violence services are a critical core function of state government, and our programs play an integral role in promoting and ensuring public safety.

Please prioritize funding for survivors and the programs that serve them so that we can continue to further our vision of a world free of domestic and sexual violence.

Sincerely,
