SART Connection Call – PREA & SARTs: Building Connections Across Systems

Sexual Assault Response Teams (SARTs) play a critical role in supporting survivors across every system, including correctional settings. This month’s call explores how SARTs can strengthen collaboration with facilities implementing the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA), and how multidisciplinary partners can work together to improve coordinated responses for people who experience sexual assault while incarcerated. This call is free and open to SART team members from across the nation, including OVW ICJR and Rural grantees and potential grantees. Participants may include correctional officers, law enforcement, community-based advocates, prosecutors, military sexual assault coordinators, and other multidisciplinary professionals involved in sexual assault response. Join us for a practical, discussion-based session designed to help teams deepen cross-system partnerships and enhance survivor-centered responses.
Access: If you need accommodations to participate, please let us know how we can make this virtual meeting accessible when you register.
