Destiny Sparks

Destiny (she/her/they) works as the Senior Operations and Program Coordinator at MNCASA.  Prior to this, she worked in public education as an executive director in a school for at-risk teens, as an English teacher and school board director.  Her entire career has been spent working with marginalized communities and her heart is focused on helping others.  She is trained in Mental Health First Aid, creating Trauma-Informed organizations and building resilient homes and schools.

In her spare time, Destiny enjoys spending time with her adult children, pets and plants.  She has been ordained and loves to officiate weddings of former students.  In the summer, she volunteers with a local science fiction/fantasy convention.
