Stormy Pierce
Stormy Pierce (any/all) is a two-spirit social work student focusing primarily on policy and prevention work as they intern with the Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault.
They began their advocacy journey with the Program for Aid to Victims of Sexual Assault in April 2021, originally serving as a hospital advocate supporting victim-survivors during forensic exams, and continue to provide support as an active helpline advocate. In addition to direct service, Stormy has collaborated with Minnesota Safe Harbor, the Human Trafficking and Exploitation Prevention and Response Network, and The Advocates for Human Rights to develop toolkits and a framework aimed at strengthening Minnesota’s approach to preventing sex trafficking and exploitation. In recognition of their efforts and impact, Stormy received the Program for Aid to Victims of Sexual Assault 2025 Community Ally Award.
When they’re not working, studying, or volunteering, Stormy enjoys reading, working out, playing games, and spending time with friends at local trivia and karaoke nights.
