Victoria Pickering
Victoria Pickering is the Training and Technical Assistance Director at MNCASA and brings more than 20 years of advocacy experience to the role. Victoria previously worked at End Violence Against Women International (EVAWI) and as the Director of Advocacy at the MOCSA, the local rape crisis center in Kansas City. In 2022, she was recognized with the Visionary Voice Award by the National Sexual Violence Resource Center for her work to improve the community’s response to survivors by training professionals and advocating for policy change in Kansas and Missouri. Victoria got her start in advocacy working at a domestic violence shelter and volunteering on a rape crisis hotline while pursuing her bachelor’s in philosophy at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. When she’s not working, Victoria enjoys kayaking, playing sports, and gardening.
