Case File Review with Your SART
Reviewing your community’s reported sexual assault case files can open many doors of opportunity for your SART to explore in order to make meaningful change. The Sexual Violence Justice Institute (SVJI) has worked with three sites to review such cases in a manner that upholds local community data privacy laws and victim confidentiality. The SVJI team who recently facilitated a case file review of law enforcement cases along with subject matter experts from Prosecution, Law Enforcement, and Medical will be discussing that process and identifying the many benefits.
This webinar highlights the core agencies’ roles in reviewing case files and the many benefits learned by all SART members leading up to and through the process of reviewing case files. In this process, you learn just as much as you do reviewing the case files.
