Partner Hosted Training: Adult/Adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) 2-day Clinical Skills Lab (PAVSA SANE)

This training event is co-hosted by PAVSA SANE and MNCASA with facilitation from Hennepin Assault Response Team (HART).

When: Monday, October 19 and Tuesday, October 20 from 8am-5:15pm each day

Where: The College of St. Scholastica (1200 Kenwood Ave, Duluth)

We invite SANE trained RNs or ED RNs facilitating medical forensic examinations who are looking to increase their knowledge and gain hands-on experience providing post-assault care to adolescent and adult patients to join us. This will be the same high-level skills training typically offered in the Twin Cities, but a little closer to home.

There is no registration cost associated with this lab.

Completion of a 40-hour didactic SANE class is preferred, but not required for ED RNs. Registration will be capped at 20 learners. RNs located in Northern Minnesota will be given preference if the lab fills. 16 ANCC Contact Hours will be provided with course completion.

Attendees traveling 100+ miles (round trip) are eligible for hotel reimbursement at the GSA rate of $220/night as well as mileage.
